By the Dawn's Early Light

Good afternoon,

Well I'm back. It's been a month. Thought I'd squeeze in one last blog post before January 2013 fades out. My rationale being that I can then say I blog at least once a month. Got to keep the old readerless entity ticking along. No vidoes to post this time around. Stop that crying. Instead I offer you the above photograph taken the 4th of January last in the centre of Dublin. Specifically, at dawn in the Dubh Linn Gardens, Dublin Castle. What was I doing there at dawn I hear you ask? Not much actually is the simple answer. I suppose I could say I was gazing at the sky and thinking about my soul if I wanted to go into it; but I don't.
Anyway, I touched up the photograph ever so slightly by means of the Camera Plus app that I have installed on my iPhone 4. I hope that you (if there is a you!) enjoy the picture:-)

Racked with humilty,

Brian

Refugee Effigy Punch-Drunk in Bludgeon Pub

(Taken from The Evening Lies 07/07/2017 by reporter Todd Flesk) Proud pub landlord Ronan Colreavy spoke yesterday of his delight at an effigy of a refugee he has displayed in his bar The Wife Beater in Bludgeon city centre. “The reaction has been fantastic, my regulars love it and it’s great for business,” gushed Ronan, licking his lips and showing euro signs in his eyes. The idea was hit upon by a few of ‘The Lads’, as the pub regulars are known. They had been drinking all day, after an important Premiership morning clash, when Dano Scutts (a drinker at The Wife Beater for over 20 years) got onto the subject of refugees. He said he was sick of seeing blacks all over the place and that they had ruined whole streets with their stinking shops. Jimbo Rancid, a stalwart patron of The Wife , stated that he was starting...
